When I was trying to find the perfect new sign for my front door, I just could not settle on any of the options I was finding in my area. I really liked parts of so many, but I just could not pick one that I loved for my door. I was seriously struggling to make a decision….clearly it was a life changing choice :). Ultimately, I decided to just make my own.

I loved the simplicity of may white door signs that I was seeing during my search but wanted something more personal since I was making it myself. I settled on adding the Choctaw word for hello “Halito” to my sign and mimicking the style that I had seen and loved. I was thrilled with how it turned out, and it’s been hanging on my door for over 9 months now.
